About rss-kakapo
This is the browser home of rss-kakapo on rss-parrot-test.softwaregardening.org, a Fediverse service that lets you turn Mastodon into your feed reader. It follows the RSS or Atom feeds of websites, and sends out a toot whenever a new post is published on one of them.
Every feed has a dedicated account. If you follow that account, you'll receive a toot in your timeline whenever a new post shows up in the feed.
This instance is run for a small circle of people: only accounts on its allowlist may ask @test@rss-parrot-test.softwaregardening.org for new feeds. Anyone may follow the feeds that already exist.

Do not toot at any of the feed accounts or @test@rss-parrot-test.softwaregardening.org directly. These are all automated accounts and no human is monitoring their mentions.
Origins
rss-kakapo is a fork of RSS Parrot by Gabor L Ugray, which runs the public instance at rss-parrot.net. Problems with this instance are not problems of RSS Parrot; please don't report them upstream. The fork's source is at sources.profpatsch.de/rss-kakapo.
